Here's an emerging screen technology from Britain's Cambridge Display Technology that will revolutionize anything that has a display. TVs, Laptops, media players, etc. What's the big deal? This is an OLED display that's printed with technology similar inkjet printers. They'll be cheaper, lighter and consume less power than conventional LCDs. Expect to see bright bright displays in very thin form factors that have huge power savings resulting in longer battery life and greener TVs. Definitely a technology to watch.

Peter,
Thanks for this post. I'm a real believer that at some point in the near future, new display technology will dramatically impact those of us in the marketing communications business more than any other technological innovation since television. But, then again, maybe that's another post.
I've linked this article to my daily blog (Much Ado About Marketing) to help spread the word.
Thanks for the post and please keep finding great stuff like this.
Thanks,
