Since we already know that Hybrid engines are the new intermittent wipers. Which was my prediction that Hybrid technology would spread quickly throughout the automotive industry. Now we're seeing it as a catalyst that will drive innovation and reinvention of the rest of the vehicle systems. Now it's seen that drive-by-wire braking systems where driver braking activity is transmitted to the wheels by electronic "wire" connection rather than traditional hydraulics work better with a key element of the hybrid technology. Hybrid systems use energy captured from the still spinning wheels during braking to recharge the onboard batteries that power the vehicle at slow speeds. Industry experts are reported to find that electronic brakes interface better with the so called regenerative braking systems.
Bring it on. The car continues to be redesigned.
