Last night I was with a group of friends when one person graciously invited us over to their home in July for a picnic. Several people requested detailed address and directions despite the host's intention to send information by email. I guess the practice of Googling a person by name and town to find not only their address and phone number but a Google map, satellite photo and driving directions is not yet routine.
These days when someone invites me for a meeting or a social function I take it upon myself to determine how to get there. The internet is full of tools that can help you do just that.
Who would have thought just months ago that we'd have satellite photos of our friends homes at our finger tips?
