Emily over at Textually reports that the word from the 46th Paris Air Show is that airplane seats will become flying workspaces with cell phone access, wi-fi and video on demand.
Bring it on. We probably won't see the goodies on domestic flights anytime soon but long haul international routes should be hopping with spiffy new tech in the very near future. This stuff should give airlines something to compete with until it all becomes a commodity.
