It is a good thing that Smart is afraid to enter the US market because we certainly wouldn't want brand obsessed Americans buying up 1,000s of Smart cars and doing things like this with them. The shame. Who would purposefully fuel this kind of blatant brand fanaticism. Before you know it the PR and buzz would be so deafening that even the sales of 1000s of vehicles could hardly squelch demand and sales. No! Smart shouldn't get mixed up in things like that at all it would only lead to, gasp, profits. Oh, no, not profits! < /sarcasm>
