Over the weekend friends and I attended the Chicago Auto Show. Great fun. We attend annually as we all enjoy new vehicle design and technology. I'll be posting some highlights later in the week. The show was huge this year 1.2 million square feet. Too much to see the whole thing in out limited amount of time we had there. The night before I enjoyed spending some time on the show website using their ceiling mounted web cams to scope out vehicles I particularly wanted to see.
On Sunday night the show ended at 8pm. Late last night I returned to the web cams to see what I could see. Yup, I got to watch a bunch of guys working hard to tear down the show. Lots of work for the middle of a Sunday night.

Update: I just checked. The cameras are still live. Check here.
Do you think these workers are aware that they are being watched?? It's kinda creepy.

I think in this day and age everyone needs to assume they are being surveilled at all times when they are outside their own home.
Not only were these workers probably not aware they were potentially being watched. The tens of thousands of people who attended the show were probably not aware they were potentially being watched on-line. But then most people have no idea just how many cameras they are seen by each day.
