In support of my previous post about women and tech gadgets comes this report from the UK
MOST women have no idea what internet jargon like kbps, ISP and googling it means, a survey revealed yesterday. In the poll, 96 per cent said they lacked confidence when the conversation turned technical.
Eight out of 10 men knew a 512kbps broadband connection is 10 times faster than dial-up, compared with only half of women.
About 1,100 people were surveyed for virgin.net about the internet. The consensus from women was: "It works, it's fast - that's all I need to know."

You know the Mirror isn't a credible source, right? I'm also hugely surprised that 8 out of 10 men know what a 512kb connection is because that isn't borne out by my personal experience.
