Twentieth Century Fox thinks they have found a new place to reach a mass audience for movie promotions. With the increasing fragmentation, segmentation, deterioration of the mass network TV audience Movie producers are left wondering where and how to blow er... spend their advertising budgets.
Fox is partnering with Ebay to attempt to reach a broad audience and link them to micro sites to promote their films this fall.
Is this the right move for movie studios? Should they be looking for the new mass audience ad buys or should they face the music that the mass audience has left the building?
