Still wondering about the marketing power of NASCAR? Consider this. Still in the first year of it's ten year agreement to be the official fuel of NASCAR Sunoco has announced a near tripling of their income to about $234 million, compared to $81 million a year ago. Including a $42 million contribution from its Eagle Point facility, which was acquired last year.
It probably helps that +/-100,000 fans see their product placement in person each weekend while millions watch on television. Thanks NASCAR. Now if we can just convince them to redesign the stores.
