Marketers and advertisers are going to push and push and push until the customer is so overwhelmed by all the advertising messages in convenience and grocery stores that they will revolt. Floor ads, shelf coupon dispensors, ceiling ads, POP displays and new things everyday add to the clutter. An "Advertising Free" shopping experience might be the new wave in grocery store design in the near future.
Now come these motion sensor activated light up devices to shout "Look at me, take me, buy me, guzzle me and I'll rot your teeth, buzz your mind, widen your load and damage your health!"
They are cool though. I do like a cool technology. Just don't over do it.
