Ever try and get a haircut on a Sunday? It's not at all easy to do. Most barbers and haircut places are closed tight on Sundays and many on Monday as well.
Anybody else smell an opportunity?
I do know of one local barbershop that is open seven days a week. I have been there a few times always during the week. I know they are open on Sundays because on my last visit the barber gave me a card stating that they were open on Sundays.
Seems like a small thing but it worked. There is real power in being where the competition isn't and letting your customers know about it.
How else is that local barbershop taking advantage of being where their competition isn't? A really good old fashioned haircut that's more grooming than fashion styling is $17 on Sundays but just $15 during the week. It's true a unique offering can carry a premium.
